Between 15 and 19 July 2024, the Know and Can successfully carried out an international training within the framework of the Erasmus+ accredited project for adult education. The training was part of Mobility No. 1: Group mobility of learners and educators in Portugal, with the participation of 12 individuals from Bulgaria.

Topic of the training:

Stress and Conflict Management
A practical course for developing stress and conflict management skills in professional environments

The course focused on building essential skills for promoting a healthy and productive work culture, improving interpersonal relationships, and supporting the emotional and professional development of participants. It included a variety of interactive sessions, group activities, case studies, and practical exercises that strengthened the participants’ ability to manage pressure and improve communication.

Training content:

🔹 Introduction to the concepts of stress and conflict and their impact on individuals and organizations
🔹 Identifying signs and symptoms of stress in oneself and others
🔹 Exploring different types of conflict and their underlying causes
🔹 Stress management strategies, including mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and time management
🔹 Conflict prevention and resolution methods
🔹 Emotional intelligence and self-awareness exercises
🔹 Practical simulations and case discussions

Key learning outcomes:

✅ Understanding the nature and causes of stress and conflict
✅ Acquiring skills to manage pressure and tension
✅ Developing strategies to resolve conflicts and maintain positive professional relationships
✅ Improving communication for conflict prevention

The training gave all participants the opportunity to upgrade their competencies in an international environment, exchange good practices with colleagues from different backgrounds, and take part in meaningful cultural and professional experiences.
